About the trail

Follow the full Gruben circuit up through forest switchbacks and across the high Turtmann Valley slopes towards Holustei. Views reach the Turtmann Glacier and the peaks across the valley. Descend through larch and pine woodland, then return beside the Turtmänna and through Blüomatt. This is the official day loop, not an extension to Barrhorn or Turtmann Hut.
