About this place
High area of Peneda-Gerês National Park where snow appears a few days each winter, without any ski infrastructure. It's mainly used for snowshoeing and improvised sledging at altitudes above 1200 m. Snow is not guaranteed: check IPMA warnings and road conditions before heading up, as roads are frequently closed.
