About this place
Portugal's only ski resort with natural and artificial snow, located near Torre, the highest point in mainland Portugal (1993 m). It features beginner and intermediate runs served by drag lifts and magic carpets, a seasonal snowpark when accumulation allows, full equipment rental, and a ski and snowboard school. Opening depends entirely on snow, so it's advisable to check run status on the day; access via the N339 may require snow chains.
