SchweizMobil local route 806, a loop from the Rhaetian Railway station at Morteratsch near Pontresina with views of the crevassed Morteratsch Glacier and the Bernina massif. Official federal Wanderland geometry: 6.5 km measured (operator publishes 6 km rounded), about 1 h 50 min, +246 m / -246 m, medium technique on mountain hiking trails, between about 1,897 m and 2,054 m. Sixteen information panels document the retreat of the glacier; a short detour leads to the Chünetta viewpoint.
