About the trail

Walk from Grotzenbüel via Unter Stafel and Alp Bösbächi to Oberblegisee, then descend towards Oberblegi-Unterstafel and the Luchsingen-Brunnenberg cable-car station. Alpine meadows, wooded stretches and the mountain lake form the complete official one-way route. The cable-car ride to the valley is not included in the walking distance. Official reference: 9 km, +220/−680 m, 2.50 hours. Complete federal track: 8.68 km, accumulated +213/−678 m. Official classification: easy hiking trail; medium fitness. The official technical rating is easy hiking trail, while fitness is medium; these are distinct scales. Take care on wet descents and near mountain streams and lake shores. A lake visit is not a guarantee of safe swimming. Nearby permanent Seblengrat–Seblen closure 2039622 and diversion 2039628 are at least 855 m from this exact track and do not intersect it; do not use the closed approach.
