About the trail

A Walensee classic beneath the Churfirsten cliffs, from the old garrison town of Walenstadt through lime woodland via Garadur, then down to the lake shore and the car-free wine village of Quinten, known for its mild climate. Because it follows south-facing slopes, the route is also popular outside summer. Official reference: 11 km, +540/−560 m, 3 h 25 min. Complete federal track: 10.73 km, accumulated +545/−549 m.
