A Jura crest loop from the Wasserfallen cable-car top station near Reigoldswil, passing Hinteri Egg (the highest point of Basel-Country), the Chellenchöpfli and Passwang viewpoints and Vogelberg before returning to the top station. On clear days the views reach the Black Forest, the Vosges and the Alps. Official reference: 10 km, +560/−560 m, 3 h 10 min. Complete federal track: 9.66 km, accumulated +555/−555 m. Narrow crest paths can be slippery when wet and exposed to wind, fog and storms.
